Humanity: A Full Circle Moment, the Fundraiser and Birthday Celebration for VCBynum Arts & Education. This year’s fundraiser celebrates a 20-year journey “full circle” from the first benefit supporting Hurricane Katrina survivors, through
arts fundraisers during the COVID-19 pandemic, to our current work building bridges through storytelling, music, and dance. Join us as we reflect on how the community fueled our journey to inspire through the arts and invest in the next chapter. We hope to see you there.

The full Eucharist includes the lively music of MISSA GAIA (EARTH MASS), composed by Grammy-Award winning artist Paul Winter and others. It features Afro-Cuban drums, jazz harmonies, gospel styles, traditional choral singing, and inspirational dancing by VC Bynum Arts.​​​

​​The worship service will feature poetry, as well as African American spirituals under the direction of Vanessa Bruce and Ryan Ellis, dancing from VCBynum Arts, and drumming. Mixed media art will be on display from local Black artists as well. The Rev. Canon Carla Robinson will be presiding with The Rev. Paul Karume preaching. Our liturgist and artistic director is The Rev. Beverly Tasy. A special offering will also be taken up in support of the Richard Younge Curates of Color Fund.​

Come join us at Saint Margaret's for our Proclaiming the Word Arts Family Camp! From July 7th-11th, we will explore biblical stories and through the performing arts, learn new ways of proclaiming the goodness of God. This camp is welcome to all ages of children as well as their parents for a new, intergenerational experience. ​
