This workshop is uniquely crafted from generations of experience in African dance and culture. Afua maintains her legacy through events and programming, embodying her mission of sharing "African Arts for All to See". Her dedication to sharing the truth of African culture in the Pacific Northwest and beyond is integral to her philosophy as a dance instructor. Participants in this workshop will experience African rhythms and dance accompanied by live drumming. All levels of experience are welcome to dance with the legendary Afua Kouyate.
